Finally.

Well after starting my weight loss journey, about 1 year and 8 months in. This weekend was the first time EVER that I like how I look. I like how my body looks in the mirror. It's the best damn feeling ever. I've reached my goal weight, not a number, not a bf% or lbm weight, but a weight I feel confortable taking off my shirt anywhere I damn please.

 

HOORAH!

 

 

...plus the attention I get from ladies passing by is rather pleasant.

Well said !! Iv just started my journey in this and it is hard but hopefully it gets easier over time, and i dont slip up and loose out. I want this, i need this, i will do this

It's never easy. You can get more used to how hard it actually is, but it never get's easier. So brace your shorts and do it!

 

(some things will get easier, but things like "plateau's" and re-adjustements will occur)

Agree. People say it's what's on the inside that counts but I find that my outside affects my inside...from a health standpoint but also from a psychological standpoint. I'm more accepting of myself if I'm ok with what's on the outside. And I think that makes me a generally better person if I'm kind of...ok with me. It's hard to explain. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think it CAN go much further than 'skin-deep' that's all. So, yeah - agree with you there.
