Captein Kittyhewk
Greetings fellow Rebels! I will try and keep this short and sweet. I am a 24 year old female gamer. I have been lurking upon Nerd Fitness for a few months now, but never felt ready to join up until now. I am an adventurer, though once I feel more comfortable I think I may delve more into a scout/monk. I have always struggled with my weight and after last week I am ready for a change. I self-conscious going out shopping for new clothes with my friends. I feel as though none of the clothes look good on me so I hide behind anything black...Needless to say, I envy my friends. They are so comfortable and confident with their bodies, but me, I feel like a piece of jello. I want to love shopping. I want to be able to buy an outfit and feel as though I look amazing in it. Most of all...I want to be healthy. I want to be able to go on hikes, or jog for more than a minute without being so out of breath. I want to be like the characters I make in my games, lean, fit, and able to fend of hordes or monsters with ease. Please help and support me to reach my goal of being healthy and more confident in myself. Quote Link to comment
Raxie
Hurray for female gamers! I just joined yesterday as well. I have similar motivations... I just want to be healthy and strong and not be self conscious any more (for now, later I will up my game for sure). Good luck, hope to see more of your posts around!
