Hello all

 

I'm Brigid, I'm 42, a single mum and I work from home.

 

I used to run 3 times a week- about 10km in total but I stopped running so often and started gaining weight. I can't fit into clothes I wore just last year- my belly is too big. I'm not willing to buy bigger clothes so I need to slim down again. I have appalling core strength though I have decent stamina and flexibility.

 

A search for weight training for women landed me here and I sat last night reading loads of articles. This definitely is the right place for me to fire up for real fitness.

I'm sure there will be loads of weight-lifting-women who can help you :) Unfortunately I'm not one of them (being a weight-lifting-man) but I will answer any questions that I can :D
