Computer Game Rec?

I used to be obsessed with Ultima Online. After it's hay day but I really got into it. Are there any similar MMORPGs that you could recommend?  I need something else to waste time on, obviously.

I used to play Ultima Online with my crappy 26.4 kbps dial up modem! And I loved it!

 

I've never played but I suppose most people would say World of Warcraft is similar. However, the one thing I always found annoying about Ultima Online is that people are strange and I wasn't very good at making friends. So Skyrim might be a possible answer to that. It's more of a story than Ultima was, but it still has a open world feel, lots of room to wander, and it's single-player.

I've been thinking the same. Anyone know of a good first-person flyer game? Like the old X-Wing game.

Skyrim is great! It has that MMORPG feel, without all the Chuck Norris jokes. I'm also really liking Neverwinter. It's free to play online D&D. Some of the obvious ploys at getting you to spend real money gets obnoxious, but the gameplay is fun.

The first time I was in college I spent my breaks playing UO, now I need something updated to play during my breaks. Because who wants to do homework?

If you're looking for something Short and Sweet, League of Legends is pretty cool, too. Addictive, though. You can get a match in for less than an hour of your time!
