Deslok Posted January 9, 2014 Report Share Posted January 9, 2014 Hi I'm new. A little about me, I just turned 43 a few days ago and am looking to make some changes in my life. Right now, post holidays, I am at 302.5 being just 5'8" that's not a good thing. I live just outside of Boston and am in Real Estate. Many people make new years resolutions that they don't keep so this year instead of making easily ignored and forgotten resolutions I made a plan. While the plan is still in "beta" its really shaping up. My goals are pretty straight forward: Lose 50-80 lbs by this time next yearStart running outside by late springRun my 1st 5k in the fall How I am going to get there: Switch to a variation on paleo, lots of vegetables and a little meat (mostly there)Begin a solid 3 day a week gym plan, weight training and C25k (in the works now)Yoga at home on my off gym days (just beginning) What I am looking for from this site: Support & knowledge Nerd Cred: My 1st computer was an Apple 2c but I liked using my parents IBM 8088 better.I played UO from beta then switched to Everquest/EQ2 for many years, then to WoW for a few.Right now I am waiting for Everquest Next/Landmark to enter alpha.Oh and I built robots to fight on TV in 3 seasons of Battlebots. Thank you for reading, I have to stop myself from adding more and reediting what I have written. Better do a little and build on it over time than try everything at once and stop after a few weeks. Good luck and keep us posted!
