Second attack I made - 1 star.  Everything pathed exactly how I didn't want it to. Grr.  Makes for 4 stars total this war.

Doing better than me, I got decimated by a giant bomb on my first attack....

This war is a nail bitter. I got decimated but at least I got 5 stars out of my attacks. I just wish I didn't have to go so far down the line to do it....I'm just not up to par with most of that clan!

I got 93% on both attacks :P so just missed 6 stars, but I suppose 4 is acceptable, given that I was a good 15 villages above my recommended target.

 

Then I watched the replay of...nothing, because no one attacks me for some annoying reason...

I really need to work on my offense

Really every game I play I become defense heavy with guerilla style of attacks, which doesn't translate well into Clash of Clans and their two minute attacks

I'm the same way. You do need to learn the offense in CoC though. I finally figured out how to deal with multiple ADs with pig riders myself, which has been awesome. Next step is learning how to utilize valkyries better.

It's the lock and home button at the same time on the iPhone.

 

I've been doing some really nerdy things, like making excel sheets that calculate DPS for each square around my base by calculating if it's in range of each tower, and auto-formating it as a heat chart. I can then move around the placement of my defensive towers to focus DPS around my gold stores, have equal DPS around the base, or focus DPS on the most common lines of approach.
