hwedwards Posted January 22, 2014 Report Share Posted January 22, 2014 I'm 6'0 and I weigh 170 pounds...but I've weighed the same since high school. This leads to a lot of "Hey, you should be lucky you haven't gained weight!" The problem is I was playing competitive hockey back then, and that 170 was all muscle. Now that I know that my 170 is not all muscle...it means a lot more fat on me. Screw. That. I've been following IF and Paleo less religiously than I should be, and I tend to be the type of person who, after a few stumbles, will find themselves in a McDonalds getting a double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, please. Now? No more excuses. I'm going to be: - Walking every day, hopefully upping this to a quick run every morning in the future. Gotta be able to out run the zombies and/or mind-controlled hordes wanting to kill me and mine.- Simple bodyweight exercises 3x a week (in the future) bumped up to every morning -- I want to be able to do 100 Push Ups and at least 10 Pull Ups -- unfortunately, I have a recent surgery on my hand to deal with, but in the next few weeks I should be cleared to get back to work!- Paleo and IF -- this has always, oddly, been the easiest thing for me to get on the program with. I eat, like, 5 bananas between 12-8pm, some mixed nuts, and for dinner Eggs and Bacon or some delicious Crock Pot paleo meals. After dinner it's a few carrots and almond butter and 8pm it's no more food! Of course, I keep my Saturdays open for beer, wings, and pizza! Anyway, that's my story and my battle plan! I don't have many friends out here in LA that are into any sort of physical and/or mental improvements, so I'm gonna try and rely on you guys! Thanks!
