It's small to many, but it's big to me

I remember that feeling! I still get it every time I do something I couldn't do in the past. I use it as fuel to keep pushing forward. Great work and major congrats!

I've been running for 12-13 years. Some days just suck. it'll be better next time.

Yes, well I think I might to today's "run" on an eliptical, just to be safe.  It keeps nagging on me and I don't want to properly injure myself.  A friend gave me a little tippy-toe exercise I can easily do at my bench so I'll be back at the treadmill in no time!

Update:

That last run was 22-min.  I had to hold on towards the end.

Yesterday was my first 25-min run WHICH I DID W/O STOPPING OR HOLDING ONTO THE TREADMILL!!!!!!

 

squeeee!  I'm getting stronger!

 

My last weight lifting session was awesome too.  I was able to do girly pushups, deep for the first time!  And the squats didn't suck, I think I might add weight next time I do them!

It's amazing how much easier it is to keep on track when I changed my goals.  In the past my goal was always weightloss (I am a chunk-a-rific 220) but now, thanks to The Toddler, my goal is to just be strong and fast, and it's amazing how quickly it comes!  I've really only been at the weight lifting for 3 weeks!

 

Who knows, maybe I'll burn some fat in the process ;)

No doubt.  It's amazing how quickly results come when you start taking better care of yourself.  Keep up the awesome work.
