I wish I could still do pushups like I did when I was much younger.  Long ago I would get out of bed and immediately do pushups, then do a set before bed.  My personal record was 72 in 60 seconds.  That was also 17 years ago though....

Guys guys!  I have an idea.

 

I was decidedly luke-warm about the "try out" notion.  But after Raev posted his, I had an idea.  Why don't we all do our AMRAP for 60 seconds before the challenge, and then we can all do it again after the challenge?  I'm personally excited to see how much I've improved during my quest to offset Raev.

 

Plus, then we can give out sweet titles like "Most Improved" and stuff like that!

Alright folks, the final rules, etc are up, and I've created a new thread for the PvP here:

Scored 38 standard pushups in 60sec.

 

My current workout plan includes Side-to-Side Pushups, which are ranked the same as Clapping Pushups in the Rebel Strength Guide.

Hey guys, count me in!

 

My 60s AMRAP for what most people would call a regular push up is 80.

 

Absolutely perfect form is around 50.

 

Though I'd probably do straddle one arms for this PvP given the points bias towards them :)

I would suggest one arm pushups with the good hand not the injured one ;)
