Reading Steve's RPG IRL article made me want to play Baldur's Gate again

All that talk of character classes sparked the RPG flame in my chest, and so I'm playing it again. I may be a Ranger in real life, but in the game, I'm having a ton of fun as a Human Paladin, currently level 3.

Anybody else around the Rebel Headquarters play BG, or is at least into those types of games, old school or new?

I don't think a single game has consumed as much of my life as Baldurs Gate 2 ever did. I played the first one a lot, but the second one was just... I can't even explain. So perfect.

Speaking of which, I should get back into it. I got the HD remaster of Baldurs Gate, and have a thief/fighter running amok (by which I mean dying horribly). I'll have to pick it back up for some nostalgia goodness.
