KillinMeSmalls Posted October 19, 2014 Report Share Posted October 19, 2014 Greetings y'all (I'm in Atlanta, what can I say?), My name is Joy and I've been an avid reader of Nerd Fitness for the past three years (also a gamer). I've told all my friends about it and have personally gained a lot of knowledge from this amazing website. Oddly enough, even though I've followed this site for so many years, I never joined. I guess I didn't really think about it and am now entering a new stage in life where I figured it might be a good idea! I've been on and off paleo for the past couple years as well as various exercise routines. I've always found an excuse to quit and get back into old habits, and that includes my fitness as well. But that's about to change! I am about to graduate from college in December and am looking to go into law enforcement when I finish. So yes, that means I plan on entering police academy next year, yikes. Which also means it's time for me to get back into my Nerd Fitness paleo and exercise routines. If I want to be successful in the training I will have to do in a few months, I figured it's time to join here and have some support from people who are also on a similar journey to lead a healthier life. I can't believe it has taken me three years to get plugged in, but better late than never! Anyway, I love this site and everything it offers people of all different levels. I hope to be an encouragement to someone in some way, and any encouragement that may come my way will be humbly and gladly received! God bless, Joy Quote Link to comment

I decided to join when I started lifting again for the fall/winter and wanted to stay consistent on my exercise. It's only been a couple weeks, but I've stayed on track so far.
