I'm mostly into running, but I'm into some strength training as well. I try to do as much hiking as I can get in. Oh yeah, and I walk to work everyday as well. I started getting into fitness about 5 years ago. I'm from a family of runners, so that's where I started. However, I was hiking one day up in the mountain areas and noticed a guy absolutely powering up one of the mountain roads, just flying! Great form and he must have had incredible endurance and fitness just to get up there. His thighs were about the size of my waist. Then I looked up and saw he had a tiny upper body. Very underdeveloped, kind of like a T-Rex. I got home from the hike and looked up bodyweight strength training which led me here. I've read articles and occasionally looked at the forums for a year or two now. Why did I finally join today?
