I finally quit my job!

Recommended Posts

Ok, that's a little more dramatic than what actually happened but I gave my notice today for the position I'm in now and I am so happy. Finally making school a priority, going back full-time to get my teaching degree and see where that takes me. I'll still be keeping a job at my current employer part time while I'm in school but I won't be camped in front of a computer processing data like I was before and I'm so grateful to my managers for working with me on that and being so nice about the whole thing in general. SUCH A GREAT DAY!!!!

Awesome. Make the most of this opportunity and level up your life in reaching for your goals.

Thanks, I really will!

Nice work! Good luck with school (it's so much easier when you know what you want to be studying)!

Yeah, it took me a little while to make that decision but I know I'll be so much happier than my current career path. Plus I generally like school so it's nice to be back.

Congrats! I would love to be a teacher, I had planned on being one for years, but I suck at having patience when people don't get what I'm throwing down right away.

Hehe, yeah, patience is key. I tend to have it in spades for students. Not so much for drivers or my other coworkers. ;)

Props. I might be doing the same soon. Huge deal. :)

Oh that is awesome! Good luck with that. Let us know when you do!

Congrats on following your goals!

Thank you! Very excited!

Very cool, it takes a lot of courage to leave your job, even if it's part time. Max respect.

I have definitely been scared about it, but good change doesn't come without being uncomfortable. That's what I've been trying to tell myself anyway, haha!
