New... Scout, I think.

Hi, I stumbled across Nerdfitness researching starting strength training. I definitely appreciate a fitness site that links to medical studies in their articles and Legos in their pictures.

I think I fall in the scout category since I've been running for ages and I'm mostly interested in distance running and triathlons. I'm 5'10 and about 145. I figure I need to get some bulk on me, but I'm not really worried about a number on that front. I want endurance and I want to feel lithe. I also would like to see the word "lithe" used more frequently.
