IrishPirate Posted January 19, 2012 Report Share Posted January 19, 2012 (and yes, I really am wearing my new black plastic framed glasses!)Hi!I just learned about this site about two hours ago, and HAD to get signed up!While I am not new to fitness and training, I fell off the radar for a while... hey, life happens to us all!And rather than complain about the ex, and getting sick, I prefer to just focus on getting back to being me!So, the long and short of it:I was 127 sopping wet with a decent amount of muscle definition (hey, at that weight I was out squatting the boy weight lifting team in high school!) until about the age of 23. Life stuck and I went up to 200.went the next few years getting some of it off, and getting some of it back.Currently at 31 years old- I am back down to 147 . I am still in the loosing process, (I eat Paleo because A) it really agrees with my system, I have a gluten sensitivity (going to be allergy tested to find out just how sensitive very soon) C) I don't eat anything that I can't pronounce My goal: well, I wanna be able to out squat the boys again!! Im not shy about taking my spot in the weight room or working out with the guys. I also LOVE heavy weights and do not like cardio machines, or weight machines.
