  1. Cool challenge, message me if you need any help with the guitar. I'm a bit out of practice, but I studied it at music college for two years so I should still know my stuff! I'm also seriously considering stealing the idea of burpees for getting up late; think I need the motivation!
  2. I have the same problem - mine says max upload size 0.03MB! The only workaround I've found is finding the picture online (or uploading it somewhere like imgur) and then pasting in the image link address instead.
  3. Brilliant challenge. I was going to look for a motivational image, but this made me laugh so...
  4. Oo, story time! Following along again to watch you blitz this challenge like you did the last one!
  5. Great start on week zero, and we're all still alive! Also, this game looks awesome, may have to find a copy somewhere.
  6. Posting so I remember to follow when you're back. Sounds like an amazing holiday!
  7. In again, and going for Titanium this time! Cheers for setting it up this time @RocketbikeNinja! Oh, and jumping jacks done with EC last night
  8. So the plan last night was go home, clean kitchen, cook dinner, eat dinner, go bouldering. Turns out that that was a stupid plan. So finished dinner around half 8, which would mean that we'd get to the bouldering gym at 9; an hour before it closes. And we were also far too full of food for any vigorous exercise. Long story short, I went for a walk with Mrs instead and then spent the rest of the evening on here looking at all the new challenges. Won't be making the mistake of trying to eat before gymming again! Also: bed at 11, teeth done, smoked 8/8 (two of which were on that walk). This morning Runkeeper called for 3mi + strides. Here's how it went: INTERVALS PACE CLIMB 3.00 mi 10:17 -8 0:20 6:11 0 2:00 12:20 7 0:20 7:37 2 2:00 10:00 -2 0:20 5:21 -3 7:40 15:47 5 Clearly the gradient had a bit of an effect on my sprinting speed! Week 4 Stats at W4D1 Down with the Sickness - 1/7 Until It Sleeps - 1/7 Iron Man - 0/2 The River - 0 swim, 0 run = 0/3 Kuss Mich - 1/7 Wasted Years - 0/1:00 I Can Only Count to 4 - (weekend goal) 0/4 Darebee PvP - MTWTFSS - 2min star jumps (EC) Finally, Pokémon GO has had loads of news coverage over here, even though it's not released in the UK yet, so I thought I would share this:
  9. Following along for more awesome OCRness (and Deadpool, much Deadpool).
  10. Love the challenge intro; following again!
  11. I'm with you on the always being late thing, following along so hopefully I can glean some wisdom when you figure it out!
  12. Awesome challenge! Gaelic football's a great sport. There's not nearly enough of it on TV here so I don't totally understand it, but I really enjoy watching it! Following along.
  13. Pint of the black stuff please innkeeper. I'm still working through my last challenge, but there's always room for "one".
  14. Hi! Love the theme, and you've got some really solid goals. Following along
  15. Interesting, I hate Nutella because I hate hazelnuts... Anyway, awesome challenge again, I'm sure Paris will be great too!

    Bker respawns

Looks like a pretty solid finish to me; you're moving forward and have plenty to build on next challenge!
  17. I love your challenge write-ups, that sounds so awesome! And you did the monkey bars and the 10' wall? Another OCR properly RANGERED!
  18. Love the concept of beating your challenge, rather than just completing it. Following along again!
  19. Actually I tested my max in a set (didn't go well) and it put me at 297. That I got annoyed with finishing under 300 and beasted out another 6 before I collapsed. Well done all, it has been an absolute pleasure to sail with you. And obviously special mention to @iatetheyeti for her Services to Squatting!
  20. I'm not great at complicated challenge planning, and not big into tabletop RPGs these days, so I may be off base here but: If you were to reward yourself by "upgrading dice" as you say, then you shouldn't get too overpowered too quickly, because although your chances of dealing high damage increases there is still an element of chance. Basically you can roll a 1 on a D3 or a D20. Alternatively you make stat increases consequent on multiple events. For example if your plan is for 3 lifting sessions per week then you make 3 lifting sessions worth +1STR. That way if you miss one you don't add any STR that week, and get the buff on the first lift of the following week instead. That potentially puts you a stat point down for the whole challenge though, unless you add a catch-up session to get back on track.
  21. That's excellent, thank you! Will be binge watching those channels very soon!
  22. Like the way the new challenge is shaping up, particularly the inspiration goals!
