ZenGwen
That's AMAZING.I offered to get one for my burly Scottish boyfriend. The conversation went like this:"I probably wouldn't wear it.""Awwwwww, for meeee?""I'm something of a kilt purist.""But, but...""National dress is not something you make crappy fashion rip-offs of.""It's not a crappy fashion rip-off! It's got utility! It's a tactical kilt! If highland warriors still wore kilts into battle, they'd be wearing ones like this.""Honey, highland warriors DO still wear kilts. I'm not sure if they still have to wear them into battle, but they did in WWI..."So it's no go here in Edinburgh, sadly. Someone else please get one! leadchipmunk
This is so going to be a reward for completing the 6 week challenge. I was going to treat myself to a Utilikilt, but at 60 dollars and the ability to hold 3 pistol mags and 2 AR mags, I cannot pass it up. The Utilikilt will have to wait. andygates
"National dress is not something you make crappy fashion rip-offs of."Hee hee! I got that response until I demonstrated that the Sport Kilt can be donned and doffed in under ten seconds, making it invaluable for triathlon transtion two. (but I'm a Southerner and even wearing the kilt is an offense, damn the bloody English...) Link to comment
Mnemneth
A few buddies that are now in Afghanistan have kilts made out of ACU Universal Digital Camo which are pretty sweet. They wore them a lot in training before they left, but not sure if they took the kilts with them or not. lol [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Half-Elf AdventurerSTR 2 - DEX 2 - STA 2 - CON 3 - WIS 3 - CHA 3Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory. - General George S.
