curls 3x6 / laterals 3x20

lm press  2x8 bar+18kg / rear  delts 2x20

Band low to high row 2x.20

 

Added 1 rep on kneel ring pushups 

Adder 1 section rows 

Added 0.5kg on pm press. Still on 2 sets but I’ve added a set of laterals. I’ll see how this goes.

This is about the 4th time I’ve done this hike and only noticed a tiny restaurant/wine bar and a wine cave near the end of the hike in the vineyards. I’ll try next time!

meadows row bar+20kg 3x8

curls ez bar+25kg 3x6 / band laterals 3x20

lm press bar+15kg 3x8 / band rear delts 3x15

 band low to high rows 3x20

 

- Added 2.5kg on lm squat.

- Added 1 rep on band ring dips.

- Switched to one arm meadows rows as don’t want to risk lower back with barbell throws. First time doing them and I used straps. So now I don’t do any of the following barbell exercises: squats, deadlifts, flat bench, rows ???

- Had to drop weight on lm press as missed the third set before. Got it this time but last 2 reps on one arm used a bit of leg drive.

- I’m seeing some gains in my traps from doing the band rows. The band is half way to my knee on the rack and I row to the shoulders. Feel it in biceps and traps.

 

I ordered a new bench as will add incline on one day in place of lm press.

 

Back to hiking on Saturday and I will try something new. I’m signing up to french classes again in August.

Ring kneel push ups 3x6

Band chin ups 3x5, 2x3

Close grip ez bar curls bar+20kg 3x6 / laterals 3x20

lm press bar15kg 2x8 /  rear delt 3x15

Band low to high rows 3x10

 

Added weight and volume on legs and wiped me out.

Aiming for 5x5 on chins

Didn't get 3rd set on lm press due to legs exercise feeling like cardio!

Im really enjoying the band rows and am seeing gains in my traps.

I did two hikes today: Icogne to Lens then planned to get the bus back but saw a sign for Bisse de Clavau which I’ve done before. This was much better than the route I e taken before.

I saw about 7 of these crosses and started to wonder about bears ?

Probably not. There are mostly wolves in the area than bears. They saying is: you cannot see the wolves but they see you ?

Git an extra rep on kneel ring dips and band chin ups.

 

left it there as had some elbow twinges.

Rings broke on push ups so did a set of band rings dips. Last time push ups were 7,6,6. This time 7,7?then 7 band ring dips so minor progress.

 

I took 5 minutes after meadows rowsnasvthey are a killer. I do 8 reps each arm for 1 set so feels like cardio!

 

Got 3rd set on lm rows due to the above. Went back to sets of 20 on rear felts as feels better than sets of 15.

 

No hiking this weekend but back to it next weekend.

Got 1 rep extra on ring dips. I’d guesstimate doing body weight (no band) by end of year.

Got an extra rep on band chin ups.

Added weight in curls

Got 3 sets on rear delts.

 

So Ive got fat. Need to do more cardio. I’ll do a hard hike at the weekend ?

Back to it and dropped volume.

 

lm sumo squat and RDL bar+40kg 5x3

band assisted ring dips 3x5

band chin ups 5x3

ez bar wide grip curls bar+20kg 2x8 / band laterals 2x20

band low to high rows 2x10

 

Hamstrings were screaming before finishing  ?

Dips were OK

Chins were OK

Had to lay down for 1 minute before band rows as cardio is shot.

 

Jogging tomorrow. Shouldn’t take long ?
