Theme songs

A bit of a self-serving thread, but I really need help finding a theme song to help me transform my mindset into my nerd fitness alter-ego at the start of workouts.

I've failed at googling and can't find anything appropriate from my usual bands. If you guys wouldn't mind sharing what you have chosen if anything, and how you chose it, that would be awesome. Even more awesome would be any song suggestions for me

Lyrics-wise I guess I'd like something relevant to meeting a challenge, that maybe references fire given my username. Genre-wise I tend to prefer goth, rock, metal (not TOO heavy) even pop would do. Prefer to stay away from RnB/jazz/country (not all bad but doesn't really set the tone I'm after).

Any help would be hugely appreciated and rewarded with many virtual diet-friendly cookies (they're virtual so their abilities are limitless).

Trite as it may be, Cake's The Distance always gets me pumped up. There's a great Kings of Leon song I like, but can't remember the title of. I'll look for it when I get home from work.

Thing that springs to mind if you want something to get you pumped, and has a theme of Fire running through it, is "Spitfire' by The Prodigy, or "Firestarter" for that matter.

I always listen to (sic) by Slipknot before starting my lifting regiment. Lyrics aren't exactly the most friendly, but the hard hitting, high energy song puts me right in combat mode. I usually lose it right after the lead singer yells PICK UP THE PACE. Definitely puts me into a "I want to lift heavy things and arm wrestle a spartan warrior" state of mind.

How about "Disco Inferno"? OK, disco. But hey, I'm a nerd already. I'm used to the mock for many of my hobbies. I care not that the 70's are daggy! Burn baby, burn! Disco inferno!

First off Alter Bridge is awesome so kudos to FutureInt, although I prefer White Knuckles but that's just me. Reason for my post though is a friend just turned me on to this awesome song called The Tempest by Pendulum and I cannot stop listening. So feel free to try both of those.
