New rebel reporting

Hi all ! first of all excuse my poor english i didnt use it since high school..i discovered nerdfitness a few weeks ago and i really like it ! especially the real life role playing .. epic quests or little quests .. i am 32 and father of a little pretty girl :) i spent most of my free time with rpg and mmorpgs for years, but in a desultory way..i mean i created a mage elf leveled him some and get bored , created a dwarf warrior leveled get bored so on...and tried so many different games like this way. i thought i should level myself , my real life but never serious about it until i came across nerdfitness..

Now i finished some real life quests like quitting smoking, getting rid of junk food, doing a real one pull up ( 2nd on the way ) i am 180 cm tall (i guess 5 feet 10 inches ) and 78 kg .. seems to be normal but i am weak cant do even 3 real pull ups so my main goal is getting stronger.last month i tried to workout at a gym but i got bored quickly, since my trainer did nothing but told me to work on machines, only info he gave was starting weights..so i decided to workout at home. But i am struggling with my workout plan, sometimes i follow steve 's beginner workout sometimes crossfit puppies ( it is humiliating ) and some other plans.. i want to do lifts like deadlift , squat but i fear to injure myself as i am working alone..
