Gainsdalf the Whey
I love the first comment and response. On another note, I actually found out why some people shrug in the squat rack. They actually shrug more they can deadlift. I couldn't comprehend this at first, but it's true. Once back strength gets to a certain point, some people can shrug 600-700 lb. This is Seth
I did rack pulls in the power cage the other night. Felt kind of dirty, but it was the only area that could hold the bar at the right height. Curls, not so much. You ever see those guys who look like they totally used to be in shape? I'm working to get back to that... Link to comment
cracked_belle
Also, check out the first comment and the author's reply... classic!bahaha, that was great! there is never a sudden revelation, a complete and tidy explanation for why it happened, or why it ends, or Why or Who you are. you want one and I want one, but there isn't one. it comes in bits and pieces, and you stitch them together wherever they fit, and when you are done you hold yourself up, and still there are holes and you are a rag doll, invented, imperfect. and yet you are all that you have, so you must be Enough. there is no other way. ― Marya Hornbacher, Wasted: A Memoir of Anorexia and Bulimia Link to comment

chairohkey
Too much curling in the squat rack hate going on here. I do it. Why? Cause I can handle more weight and reap the benefits of a stretch reflex. I'd rather see a bro proper curling in the rack than other 1/4 squatter. Link to comment

cline
I saw that article. And yeah, I admit to using the squat rack for all sorts of shizzle (yeah, I said that). I do pullups in there sometimes, sometimes I drag a bench in there and use the pins as my spotter on BP.... why? BC ain't nobody using the squat rack at my gym. They do their bicep curls in a big room w rows and rows of dumbbells and 3 wall length mirrors. There is a lot of looking and watching. :-) I use the squat rack - in the back by myself. Part of my evil plan. I AM going the distance 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood.
