Hi

This is me, on the 30th of December 2012, on 124 Kg / 273 pounds:

And this is me today, 90 days later, on 105 Kg / 231 pounds:

After a lot of reading, I have been the following plan for the past 90 days:

Diet:

  • Zero processed food, sugar, grains and alcohol.
  • Lots of meats (beef, chicken, fish, kangaroo, lamb), fruits and vegetables
  • Some nuts, dairy, coffee and 85% dark chocolate
  • No calorie counting

Exercise:

  • 2 sessions per week of weight lifting: Squats, Pushups, One arm rows and kettle-bell swings (weight, number of reps and sets have been increasing with time, currently at 4 sets of Squatsx10x17.5Kg, Pushupsx7, Rowsx10x20Kg each arm, Kettle-bellx10x20Kg)
  • 1 match of competitive basketball per week
  • Walking the others days

Goals:

A healthy weight circumference of less than 94 cms / 37 inches and weight of less than 90Kgs / 198 pounds, by the end of the Australian winter (31st of August 2013).

I am very happy and wanted to share it with people who are in the same journey. I am looking forward to the next 180 days.

Cheers,

R.
