Laureleye
Hello Jake and welcome to the rebellion. Joining the next challenge is a great plan; they're a lot of fun and a great way to stay on track. What type of changes are you going to make to your eating (I hate saying diet) to accomplish your weight loss goal? If you don't have a plan, look up the guide to healthy eating on the FREE RESOURCES page of the NERD FITNESS tab. Good luck on all your goals. The hardest part of the workout is lacing up your shoes'"10 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 14 | 15 | Current Challenge |INTJ | MFP | FitBit Link to comment
Draken273
I try to keep to a mostly paleo diet, but eating out of an Army DFAC that proves to be more difficult than back home. my plan it just to reduce my intake down to 1700 or so cal a day. mix that with some cardio and weight training i should do alright. thanks for the heads up though! Irish Oisin
Howdy soldier, welcome to the rebellion! Sounds like you have some really attainable goals there! I have a question about army deployments, in your base camp, do they have gym facilities for you there? To help keep you in shape and blow off some steam? Go BIG, or go home. Link to comment
gomezkun
Welcome to the Rebellion my friend! I too am out here in this lovely country they call Afghanistan.I attempted to go the Paleo route but depending on your MOS, it's hard to get out of the office/field to get some actual veggies and fruits. Then again, the quality of the food is not up to par with what is available back at our duty station. Doing a hybrid mix to adapt to it will make a transition back home smoother. Awesome goals - keep at em and stay safe out here as well Level 2 Blood Elf WarriorSTR 5.80 / DEX 4 / STA 4.4 / CON 1 / WIS 5.9 / CHA 3.25"When you punch - you bring your arms up.
