I was assumed to be gay for the longest time because a) when my friends broke out porn (pre-internet), I wasn't really interested, and they were banging, or at least TRYING to bang, every girl in school (I was friends with the popular kids, for some reason). Then, when I did get a girlfriend, she was 'fat' by high school standards, so everyone assumed that was ALL I liked, and I was weird for THAT, and people kept trying to hook me up with their 'fat friends', because 'no-one else would date them'. *twitch* And with those assumptions, I realized that "the internet", as a whole, is pretty much high school.
