Deadlift First Goal Achievement Unlocked

I know it may not be much around NF, looking at the DL leaderboard, but I passed my BW in my deadlift yesterday.

 

290 lbs. x 5 reps @ 282 BW

 

Just thought I would share since that is one of the first goals I set when I started lifting.

 

Next goal:  Lift my original weight when I started my journey of 415 lbs.

Very nice! Who cares what others are doing as long as you are improving? Go get it.

It is hard to quantify how far along my journey I am (1/4, 1/2, 3/4).  I guess if I look at it as many journeys, weight, strength, flexibility, stamina, balance, speed, that make the entire quest to a healthier me.  It is amazing what your mind can do when you have determination and a stubborn attitude to not quit. Lol
