Here are a few examples of what usually happens in my house...

 

1. Whenever one person grabs a towel the other person usually says, "Don't forget your towel!"
2. Whenever we watch an incarnation of Star Trek we have to make it a point to announce each occurence of the number 47.
3. Whenever we watch a movie and we see a "that guy/girl" one of us will pick up an iPhone or laptop to actually look up who that person is.

I pretty much have done that since I started sewing- i still suck at "tradtional clothes"  I can't alter anything- but i can whip up a bellydance costume like it's my motherfucking job.

• You ask your work mate to review some video editing work you've done, only to troll him by slipping a sprite of the dragon "Flammie" from the old Super Nintendo RPG, Secret of Mana, flying across the screen at a random part of the video.
• You call people "noob", without them knowing what "noob" is. 
• When you try and quote video games (e.g. Mass Effect 3, "You... big, stupid jellyfish") and no one gets it except you. 
• When you can throw Penny Arcade quotes at one of your closest friends, and literally have a full on conversation between each other using just PA quotes. 
• When you walk through certain places outdoors, and a theme from a video game plays in your head (e.g. when I walk from the nearby football field to home in the afternoons, I hear the
  in my head). 
• When you try to explain the difference between high definition and standard definition television resolutions to someone who doesn't know - and clearly doesn't give a crap, but you're very passionate and argumentative about it. 
• When you start telling an apparent Star Wars fan what Darth Maul's race and culture is like (e.g. the Zabrak race) as well as his back story before Episode I, and they look at you in complete disbelief like you're a freak.

And 98% of the doctors in the room look at you like you have three eyes...

When you spend your weekends dressed up in historical costumes educating the public about the local history during certain time periods for fun. (Yeah, I do historical re-enacting and it is awesome)
