Howdy friends

Interesting theme for a forum, I have posted on bodybuilding forums in the past but generally struggle with the attitude of other posters. Hopefully this place will be a little more friendly, certainly seems to be in my lurking. 

 

Bit of background. Early 30's corporate drone, love all things intellectual and nerdy with the exception of gaming. Sorry just doesn't do it for me. 

 

Spent a few years working out for the result in the mirror before falling in love with strength sports. Enjoy competing in powerlifting, have totalled 510kg @ 87kg. Not super big numbers but slowly getting my total up. 

 

Had a layoff recently due to an unforseen medical problem (my apendix burst) currently I would guesstimate my lifts at -

 

Squat 180kg

Bench 105kg

Dead 200kg

 

Looking forward to sharing my journey with all the members here and swapping ideas on all things strong and fit.
