Does anyone know if charizard's X megavolution is the alternative to the other one we've seen? I was under the impression that the normal looking one was like the usual one and you had to get the X version from an event, but I guess that'd be weird if X got 2 versions potentially and Y only got 1. I guess it depends on the stone they hold, and your wrist transceiver. I'm not sure if you can get the X version on a Y game or a Mega Y on the X game. After you beat the game, you get access to friend Safari zones. LuckyGamer Posted October 28, 2013 Report Share Posted October 28, 2013 I've been a pokemon trainer since my mom bought me blue version back in '98. I've played at least one game in each of the generations. I recently beat Y version, and while the graphics were awesome and the story was decent, it was too easy. That expshare definitely made overleveling a problem. The elite four doesn't level up after you beat them the first time either, unless I haven't done something to trigger the usual upgrade. I haven't tried any of the endgame and am eagerly awaiting the ability to bring over my old school badasses from gens 4 and 5. Quote Link to comment

In the end I decided to turn it back on so I wouldn't have to get stuck level pokemon up just to get past the a gym. Still like it quite a bit. As your title increases by beating trainers (they seem to replenish over time or number of steps taken), the trainers level up. It's a good way to farm money too. It appears that at the higher titles, you can use these things called writs to summon gym leaders and the elite 4 to the chateau. Quote Link to comment

I have been using the Chateau to level up the Pokemon who can simply evolve from leveling instead of the ridiculous requirements some of them have, like affection or trading while holding certain items. Going through my yearly Pokemon phase but couldn't afford the new one on 3ds so found one called liquid crystal which seems pretty good - like a fan made one incorporating three islands and other cool features . I love water-type pokemon; if I lived in the pokemon world I like to think I'd be a water-type gym leader My favorites are gyarados, starmie, vaporeon, and oshawott.
