Ready for a system reboot

Howdy everyone!

 

My name is Jim, I'm 27 and new here to the Rebellion!

 

My wife and i have been eating clean for about a year, noticed some very healthy changes by cutting out the processed foods, but recently began to see things take a turn for the worse.

 

I just started a new business doing web design and internet marketing so naturally I'm attached to a computer for most of my day, and on top of that, my wife and I are expecting our first child this October, so to say my life has been hectic lately would be an understatement. Between work hours, trying to get our house ready for a baby, I put my health on the back burner, and have noticed a difference.

 

Now that doesn't mean I have gone back to eat the bad processed foods, but eating clean food in large quantity at odd hours of the day and night and sleeping 3-5 hours a day put a hurting on me.

 

So now I've stumbled on this blog, read a whole bunch of articles, and said hey - that actually makes sense! Being a fellow nerd, I have a love for analytics and logic, and reading the content here made some things click in my brain that showed my the right way to go forward smartly.

 

Started just yesterday I adopted a Paleo lifestyle, and the first 24 hours have been awesome, meat veggies and bacon... whats not to like??

 

I look forward to meeting some fellow nerds here and taking not only my own life but all of your lives up to the next level as a team!

Hi and welcome in.  You've done the most important thing by looking at your diet.  That will be great for your wife as well.  Remember that activity doesn't need to happen at a gym.  Take a 20 minute break when you're head's ready to explode and you can get in a 1-mile walk.  Lots of errands can be done on-foot almost as fast as in the car.
