IronGlider
So, I've started rebelling in this community for just under 2 weeks now, and (like most people) love working out to music. I was writing this list for another user, when I realized I would love to know what everyone's been listening to... There's got to be a thread here about it, but I can't find any, so I decided to make a new one! Here are some of the tracks this week that I've been listing to! (TIP: Try to post the youtube link, following brackets of reasons why you like the track. Why? Curiosity, my friend, curiosity... :-) Here's mine! http://www.youtube.c...h?v=nTEIsrBJJRM (Great active track)http://www.youtube.c...h?v=o92cbKpfPu4 (Gets me pumped!)http://www.youtube.c...h?v=R9Fi0JMAMSU (Great to wake up to)http://www.youtube.c...h?v=Zx1_6F-nCaw (A classic imo)http://www.youtube.c...h?v=ZQksmI8kFbA (Euro-love)http://www.youtube.c...h?v=83_CoukIAi4 (Indie love)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5Z2Eo7__kI (Gets me in the mood)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-b1Q8wwREo (The geek in me likes this track! :-D ) I'll make future posts with other music I'm listening to if this is a popular thread! IronGlider
Thanks for sharing Merrye, you're a (thoughtful) star! I've heard of this game from a friend but I've never played it, sounds great! Gonna have to find these tracks on amazon but I'll be sure to listen to them whilst exercising, I like discovering new stuff, esp. when I have context for why people like them! :-) Quote Introduction, Bodyware: Fitness JournalChallenge Belt: (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), [WOOT], (8), [TEMP HIATUS], (9) Bodyweight Info: Starting: 264.5lbs, Current: 167.8lbs (NEUTRAL) IronGlider v2.10, Adventurer Rank: Level 8 Link to comment

ECBlank
So... I know mine is weird, and will probably only actually work for another month or so. Having gone through an awful breakup recently, those sappy love & loss songs (Country's bread and butter) don't make me all weepy like they should. They make me PISSED OFF!!! So I channel that energy into strength training. (I probably don't want to think too hard about how many "positive" things in my life are secretly fueled entirely by rage.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TopmYCaJ3zchttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUJOf71wYp8http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WEpLzsdEeY (I have a grooveshark playlist with dozens of songs of this ilk. These in particular build up a lot of restless energy that I want to pull my pull up bar off the door... However, I don't weigh the 300 lbs required to do that. So I end up just pulling myself up... which is kinda the point.) Under normal circumstances: I know he's been around a while so probably not a new revelation to many people, but If you can't get pumped to Joe Satriani, you have a leak and need to get that checked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoERl34Ld00 (When I'm relieving for the Yankees, this will be my entrance music)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUGaQU0yTPAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLPWnH0cECw (Anything done to this guy's music instantly becomes epic) Quote Link to comment
Minty Keen
Right now I'm loving this song. by these people. Cuz I looooove PTX. In fact, when I'm not working out, I dance in my chair to this song. So it's extra effective.PTX makes a great song even better.
