Tinuviel
I've been doing wide grip body weight pull-ups for a while now. I'm the only female at my gym I've seen do body weight pull ups (lots of women on the assist machine though). I had plateaued at 3 sets of 8 for months, not quite sure how long exactly. Last night I did my normal eight, and tried one more, then two more. I got three sets of ten, no kipping. Yippee! I upped my rest time between sets and it helped. Quote Link to comment
Vella
Sweet! Nice progress Three sets of ten is no slouch. From one of the girls using the assist machine (shh, I'm *trying* to get to full pullups... ) Quote Previous challenges: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) Link to comment
matty_mcfly
Nice! That is really really impressive. I don't do them enough to be honest. I was really excited to get 25 in 5 sets...lol Quote "I can. I will. Yuen
Rock on! Hitting double digit reps is always such an awesome milestone.Somehow hitting a PR of 10 is just psychologically better than 9 or 11 (at least to me )So.... do you see muscle ups in your future?
