bezland
So I don't post on these boards anywhere near as much as I feel I should considering how much drive Steve and everyone else here gives me. However I wanted to share today's success with some like minded people. Today was my first ever max out day after having started training for 5 months. I seem to have been relatively blessed with the sport of powerlifting as my day one numbers were probably above average and I'm lucky that my coach who runs my gym seems to have a far better understanding of how my body reacts to training than I do. Anyway, onto the meat of it. I weighed in at 100kg today (should really be 95 if my diet hadn't fallen off the bandwagon recently) and my projected numbers were: Squat: 160kg (previous pb 150kg) Bench: 110kg (previous pb 100kg) Deadlift: 180kg (previous pb 170kg) And now for the results....... Squat: 185kg Bench: 105kg Deadlift: 205kg I was shooting for a 1000lb total today but ended up hitting 495kg (1090lb)!!! Obviously a little annoyed my bench fell short of giving me my projected weight and a 500kg total, but I can't help but be chuffed with how today went! Sorry for the long ramble and thanks to anyone who bothered to read this far! Long live the rebellion! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk Quote Link to comment
Vella
*high five* Well done! I understand being frustrated by the bench weight, but don't let it drag down the fact that the achievement still rocks Quote Previous challenges: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) Link to comment
