New and ready to change

Hello everyone!

 

Prior hills and journeys aside, I am a 24 year old female who has 25 pounds I want to lose and I'm wanting to give the Paleo lifestyle a try.

 

I'm familiar with strength training, though most of my experience with it has been alongside a trainer so I've had some difficulty planning out my own sets of exercises.

 

My fiance has been going gluten free since he has an intolerance to gluten, so I think my first step will be to cut out all the breads and pastas with him and go gluten-free as well since most things with gluten are also not paleo. I downloaded the "is it paleo" app from Nerd Fitness to help me with that as well.

 

I'm really hoping to find support from this community since I don't have much support in the way of my real-life friends, who don't have time to commit with me or the money for a gym membership with me.

Welcome to Nerd Fitness and don't panic, you can do it. Paleo is a great way to go if you have a gluten intolerance so hopefully your fiance will happily get on board with you.

 

A new challenge is starting on Monday so if you want to jump in and start one you'll find a lot of support there.
