Nerd. Gasm.Here's my story.Once upon a time, I was a 205lbs truck driver and about 36% bodyfat. I decided to get healthy and 'went Paleo.' 2 months later I had dropped 50lbs, could do 5 pullups, and didn't need caffeine/ sugar to keep me awake on those long 11 hour drives. Once, I started rocking a kettlebell, I started adding a bit of muscle.With my newfound energy, I decided to quit trucking and bicycle down the west coast. Starting in Yakima Washington, I cycled all the way down to San Diego California. It was awesome... so I decided to do it again and left from Lewiston Idaho and cycled down till I got to Crescent City California. By then I was broke and had 0 dollars. I signed up with WOOF (workers on organic farms) and starting working on farms and homesteads out in a little town called Petrolia Ca. In Petrolia I was exposed to Aikido in this tiny 7 member dojo. One class and I was hooked.I was so inspired by Aikido that I spent a month in Fresno Ca as the Uchi Deshi (live-in student) of Aikido Fresno. I ran out of money again, happens a lot, so I beat feet to Sarasota Florida where I am now.I am staring the decision of driving a truck over the road again.
