Goofyfoot
So I spoke with my Coast Guard recruiter Monday, and this is how it went down -A) He didn't recognize me, the first time he saw me was last december, when I first started losing weight Took a test, got a 94 and qualified for my desired field of study/job in the military (Crypto Linguistics)C) Stepped on the scale, only 12 pounds away from my qualifying weight (thought it was going to take till August to get there) Now for the Oh crud...I have a fun little disease called acute gout, apparently it is more genetic than diet based. Now while I have been eating infinitely better and my flare-ups are literally non-existent...I can not go active while taking my meds for it. So after I meet my weight requirement, I am going to test drive a month or so without the meds, and see if I have flare-ups or not. /fingers crossed. 1 Quote I haven't made a goal, I have made a lifestyle change.I am not where I want to be, but I am closer than I was yesterday. It was hard to make changes at first, I will never go back. The only person that was standing in my way was me. Lou_be_Lou
more amazing progress! good luck with the oh crud bit - hopefully eating clean and being hugely lighter (that just sounds wrong) will make a difference for your immune system and inflammatory response...... is it one of the inflammatory diseases that can be helped by AIP (autoimmune paleo)?
