pocketens Posted May 28, 2014 Report Share Posted May 28, 2014 Hey gang, just signed up for the site, looks like something that might be able to get me back where I want to be. I was actually doing a fantastic (maybe overly so) job of hitting the gym, around 5-6 times a week, and really sticking to a good diet plan, using intermittent fasting. Overall I lost around 20 lbs over the course of the year, and was about 10 lbs away from getting visible abs. THEN WORK GETS IN THE WAY. I am currently the Kitchen Manager of a restaurant, and have had significant staffing troubles, My AKM quit, (twice), been short staffed with other sections of the restaurant as long as I can remember, which led me to abandon the working out almost entirely, and say F-it to my diet. I have gained back all the weight plus more. I am currently at my heaviest 5;10", 205.Not good. So I'm hoping that I can get some inspiration from you all, and the site to get me back where I want to be. I just started (today) 5x5, which seems...too simple, so any thoughts on that would help! 1 Quote Link to comment
