Talvi
Hello, I'm currently learning Spanish (castellano) and I'm always looking for more practice if anyone wants a skype exchange. In Spanish, I can speak at A2/B1 level: I have a good basic vocabulary and can form sentences. With SymphonicDan, we've managed to have long conversations before. I warn you that I use tenses like a madwoman though. I'm aiming for B2 level by the end of this year. We could either just practice Spanish together if you are a learner too, or I am happy to do a language exchange. I can offer English or French practice. I am a native English speaker and I live in France with a B2+ level in French and an hilarious accent. PM me if you want to do an exchange Quote Level 11 Morgana Scout STR 14|DEX 11|STA 31|CON 11|WIS 23|CHA 19 Current challenge: Talvi makes tactical decisions | Epic quests: 2015, 2016 | Running instalog: new_tracks_to_follow | Previous challenges: -2 -1 etc... Madam_Patella
Hello.English- fluent/native (From the USA, so I probably have a few bad habits when it comes to grammar. Sorry. )Spanish- beginner/noob (Only have Rosetta Stone-Latin America practice. I can understand some written Spanish, but my vocabulary is limited.)I should probably work on my Spanish comprehension before trying to communicate with someone. I'd be happy to help with written English conversation via PM. Quote Link to comment

I have told with Dan as well, he is doin great in spanish To be honest, I don't know about language levels, but we can practice doesn't matter your level. I'm really good at spanish, (I'm native, but the fact of being native doesn't make someone expert in the language ) PM on way! 1 Quote Challenges #1 +PvP - Language Exchange Topic - Find a buddy! redimagination
Well I think now that it is part of my challenge I should post here.My native language is English. I am currently learning Gaelic (Scottish) at beginner level though I have yet to see another speaker on here.Still I am contactable through PM, email, Facebook and I can do Skype but not first preference Quote Current Challenge Previous challenges:7, 6, 5, 4, 3. 2, 1 I am the one thing in life I can control Link to comment
Jett
Hmm, I just found this thread. I love learning new languages! I speak English natively (and I can be very helpful about specific grammar questions, as I have been an editor and also a long-time student of languages.)I also speak/write French at an intermediate level. I could help a complete beginner, but I could also stand to learn through practice with a fluent speaker/writer. The languages I am interested in learning are numerous, but right now I am most interested in Swedish and Korean. Potentially also German, if the others are hard to find partners for. I would prefer to start with PMs, and branch out from there. (I'm a little shy on Skype, sorry!) Quote Current Challenge | Daily Log Link to comment
Chris2Brooks
I am yet to connect with anyone on this thread. I still see the value in this thread, but I do have a proposal to make connecting easier with one another: Why not share your Duolingo links here and we can all connect with one another regardless of what language you're learning (Duolingo is language independent) We'll gain XP's for our various languages, level up and then motivate one another and have friendly competition for the top of the leaderboard. I know not everyone is on Duolingo, but for those who are, share your links and add one another: https://www.duolingo.com/Chris2Brooks CH3, perhaps add the links to the top our thread? What do you rebels think? Yay or nay? Have alternative idea? Jett
It's awesome! Very easy to do a few lessons, and pretty good at helping you remember old lessons as you progress into new ones. I decided to just start doing Swedish instead of going back through German, since right now, that's where my interest lies. 1 Quote Current Challenge | Daily Log Link to comment

Maybe this will force me to take the plunge! I really love it too. They have an ingenious way of keeping your memory fresh. And there's no, premium membership or anything like that, you'll mostly see with other programs. It's completely free. The whole concept feels like a game. You keep on pushing for more points and rewards. Presea
Okay, so I checked it out and it looks like they don't have Japanese yet (). It is in the works, beta testing or something. However, I signed up for the Spanish one. I'm fairly fluent since I speak with my boyfriend and his family all the time, but I've found my Spanish has become very Ecuadorian. I had to think on the placement test to remember what the word most other countries use for "girlfriend" is. My username is Presea25 if anyone wants to add me! Jett
Whoa damn, you jumped straight to level 10 Spanish! Impressive! Yeah, I'm waiting impatiently for them to add Korean as a language. :/ Japanese would be fun, too, but at least there are already a lot of different resources for english-speakers to learn Japanese.
