joeyb
If it makes you feel better, that's her 1RM and she doesn't have to lift your body weight either. Not to take away from that, though, because that's pretty impressive. It just reminds me that the strongest person in the world in proportion to their body mass was a toddler at one point. bigm141414
Pretty cool. But man I have never seen someone be so folded over in a squat before where their chest is actually goes lower than their knees. Gainsdalf the Whey
Yeah, other than the fold, wasn't bad. She just made it below parallel though, so it counts. NotBadForAHuman
I just have to wonder what impact that kind of thing has on a growing body? I am not saying it's bad - but I have a 9 year old daughter, so I have to wonder.I also think my 9 year old daughter might be totally into doing this, it just never occurred to me to ask. I am not saying it's bad - but I have a 9 year old daughter, so I have to wonder.Someone posted an article not very long ago about it. The gist was that the whole thing with weight lifting being bad for kids and stunting growth is a load of bull. I personally think it's right because I know guy who started lifting in their early teens (like 12) and they are almost all over 6'0", except those that were always shorter. As long as they use proper form, it's great for all ages.
