shadowkat
I'm a bit of a try-almost-anything person - with the exception of team sports, they don't really float my boat! So, I've done...Ballet, classical and jazz (age 4-12)Gymnastics (one year as a kid)Horseriding (age 6 to present)Taekwondo (one year)Tai chi (3 month course)Yoga (occasional classes)Pilates (occasional classes)Burlesque dancing (occasional)Rockclimbing (fairly infrequent)Squash (go through phases)Fencing (2 or 3 years)Bellydancing (6 week course)Circus/aerial skills (10 weeks)Aikido (a few classes)Archery (a few times a year)Cycling (last couple of years)Pistol shooting (tried 2/3 times)Wiifit (go through phases)Just Dance on Wii... (between other obsessions)Kayaking (a few months)Walking (ongoing)Gym (a few memberships over the years)And I suspect there's more!Golly, that's quite a list when I look at it... Quite enjoyed them all at the time, but didn't stick with most, due to time/money constraints, or just can't-be'botheredness.Riding is the only one I've stuck with (or rather, come back to after a break). Would like to fence again, when I can afford it. But despite this, I've never been particularly fit - only getting there this year with walking/cycling. And I would never consider myself a sporty person! So what have you tried? What would you like to try? I have some vouchers for a Barre-Extend class that I need to book.
