Left or Right Handed?

I just read an interesting article that suggests that the percentage of left-handed barefoot runners is higher than the usual average. This got me wondering if the same holds true for nerds....so let's do a poll!

I write with my right hand but draw with my left mostly. Sometimes I switch it up, but when I was in grade school I was forced to write right handed because the teachers made me.

Ha! I knew it wouldn't be long until someone asked this Even ambidextrous folk tend to favour one hand or the other, so we'll go with that.

Incidentally, my grandfather was ambidextrous, my son is a lefty and I'm a righty (though I'm goofy-footed)....got the whole spectrum covered in my family

Lot of lefties in this thread. My grandfather and father are both lefties, so I'm the rebel.

I write with my right hand, I throw right handed, swing righty, and shoot right handed. My pimp slap is a southpaw though.

Incedentally though, my left hand is much more nimble and sensitive than my right, and the fingers have a much better range of motion.

Left handed, but for some reason right is better at a lot of things.

Also right eye dominant. Stronger right side, right foot kicker.

A lot of ambi people are/were also originally lefties that had it taught out of them at school.

I'm mostly a righty, but I'm left footed and I take a southpaw stance around 80% of the time when I get in a fighting stance. Oh, also left eyed and slightly more accurate pistol shooter with my left hand (though I can't control the recoil as much).

I am ambidextrous (breaking your left arm will do that) but I favor my left hand for writing, eating, shooting, and fighting, but bat and throw right handed. Im all kinds of goofy!

Yo leftie. Even though Evil Miss Lewthwaite made me sit on my left hand and write with my right, my sinister side won through (incredibly precise penmanship with the left; drunk child in a washing machine with my right).

Now, are lefties somehow more into weird sport gear? Are we into barefoot running? Or are we into niche subcultures like our lefty one?

I'm lefty, but I broke it when I was about 6 quite badly, ended up with my left wrist out of commission for about 6 months, and I learnt to do a bunch of stuff right handed, like play tennis with my right hand. I use a knife and fork like rightys, but I use a spoon lefty.

Lefty here, but I pretty darn ambidextrous. Can pitch, bat, shoot guns, play basketball, etc all right handed.
