I am interested in joining the next six week challenge my name is Jenn... I have been reading the blog for about 2 months now... I am a nurse... I work in intensive care at a university hospital... I work 12 hour overnight shifts so that kinda messes me up a little but I only have to work 3 days a week and every three weeks I have eight days off so that makes it totally worthwhile!! I am a single mom to three kids... they are 15, 14 and 12 and are quite the handful! I have been overweight most of my adult life but I have been working on it... I am currently down 60something pounds... I have spent the last two months recovering from a broken foot... but I am a generally active person and I am in the best shape of my entire life (despite still being 130# more than I want to be) I hike... we live near the apalacian trail and Alien is my trail name... we do section hikes on the trail and my goal is to do the whole thing for my 40th birthday... I bike... I did 140 miles in 4 days in august on the green briar river trail in wv... it was awesome... I like to mountain climb and boulder... we did old rag (http://www.hikingupward.com/snp/oldrag/) this year and it was awesome! have to say that it has been my favorite mountain! so that is basically me in a nutshell...
