405# Deadlift

I never thought (until the last couple of months) that I would be able to lift this much weight.    I think my original deadlift 2 years ago was around 185# max....

just as a note to any other older folks...I'm 53.

No straps too.  It seems all I see in the gym when guys do deads is them taking more time to wrap those straps around the bar than the time it takes to do the movement.

That is fricken outstanding.

Awesome job! I take it you are no longer in your 1:1:1 ratio for the big three?

ha.  Correct.  345ish/325/405  If I can get that squat up there a bit, I should be able to break 1100 for the SSS....

I picked up a set of straps that someone left in a gym.  I can't figure out how to use them (and I don't want to).  Need to throw them away.

This is great! My new 23 year goal...

Do you use hook grip? I can't quite see at that angle. It looks like you were just double-overhanding it. (I hope not, that would be ridiculous)

No. Mixed with left over and right under. It seems my fingers are too short for hook (or i'm doing it all wrong.

I see 495 and the 505 in 2013... 5 wheels + on each side... or heaving the 10-wheeler... hahaha... congrats bro...

That would be nice. First is 1100# total.
