ALosito
Hi All! Introductions are super fun and totally not awkward . I'm Ann and I'm a total dork! I found this site through a friend on a Gaming Moms Fitness group on Facebook and I'm really excited about getting to meet even more people who share a passion for fitness and nerdvana. I'm 26 mother of 2. I have a FT desk (surprise suprise) job as an accountant and while I have finished my bachelor's I am still a PT student working on some additional classes for my CPA license. My mother intorduced me into nerdom at a young age. I started playing video games at probably 4 with regular nintendo and never let go. She bought by LOTR boxed set when I was 7 which is about the time I fell in love with Harrison Ford as both Han and Indy. Anyway it's gone downhill from there I was fairly active as a teenager. My lack of grace and coordination sort of shut the doors on me for most team sports however I was an avid horseback rider(hunter/jumper). I still enjoy riding when I get the opportunity. I was introduced to weight lifting in January of this year. My girlfriend and her fiance were working out with a trainer and invited me to join them. I quickly learned my trainer was a bigger nerd than I was and I have been working out 3 - 4x week since. I love lifting. Everytime I pack on bigger weights I play myself the Skyrim level up music. Diet. I eat a lot of fresh produce and cook a lot at home. I am not Paleo though, I'm Italian. I've seen Spaghetti squash and Paleo Pasta and I almost tried making it but I'm weary. So I think that's a pretty good start Quote Link to comment

Morrigainz
Welcome! You don't have to be paleo to be awesome and fit! Although if you are ever interested in trying it, I really did find spaghetti squash to be a good replacement for pasta. It's a lot of work (well, I consider it a lot of work) though.
