sperocras Posted August 26, 2013 Report Share Posted August 26, 2013 Greetings and salutations, all! I'm sperocras, and I've been working to make myself a better version of me since January 3, 2013. I'm a 5'9" female, which I don't expect to change during this journey. What I do expect to change is my weight, my fitness level, my strength, my stamina, and my overall satisfaction with my life. My IRL support and accountability people are limited, so I've been looking for new ways to stay motivated, which is how I found Nerd Fitness. My journey is going to be a long one - I just hit my half-way-to-goal mark on Sunday (92.5 lbs lost, woo!), and I'm giving myself at least a year to get to my ultimate goal. My ultimate goal isn't so much a weight goal, though. Once I get to a healthy BF%, my goal will be defined by my ability to do things, such as running a 5k, climbing a rock-wall, learning basic parkour (and thus getting over my constant fear of injuring myself), etc. My non-fitness goals are to work towards financial independence and turning my humble house and property into a sustainable homestead to reduce/eliminate my reliance on grocery stores and fossil fuels. I am many things, including: a Nerdfighter, a Whovian, a Potterhead, a Trekkie/er, a Buffista, a Gatehead, a Browncoat, a reader, a gardener, and an aspie. Anywho.
