PRed my squat snatch!

YAY!!!!

I loath the squat snatch, the overhead squat...pretty much any movement that requires weight being overhead.

So we had to do a snatch complex tonight (see below) and I was determined to work on my form. I spent an extra 10 mins on the squat snatch alone after everyone else moved to the next part of the WOD. My extra work paid off when I PRed at 80 lbs. it was only 5 lbs more than my last PR (and I almost made it to 85, but dropped it coming out of the OHS).

Needless to say, mission accomplished.

Attached is a picture at the bottom of my squat snatch while I was practicing with 55 lbs. It's weird to think I was having problems with the 15 lb bar 6 months ago. ;)

Just keep working at it! Stretching does wonders! Luckily, I had a bit of the flexibility before I started, so I didn't have much work to do to get low. But I have plenty of other areas to work on, so I'm ok with that.

Post here if you get your PR!! I can't wait to get to 100 lbs. :)
