Guzzi
The English part of your accent definitely isn't midlands though (it's Darbyshire you're in isn't it?), where have you picked that up from? I'm Bedfordshire, but spent a lot of time in Kent, so it's a bit just general SE/home counties. Quote Link to comment

Liberator
Your accent is lovely! Thank you Guzzi! For some reason your recording is the only file that won't play for me I would love to hear your accent. Love the many British accents… I spent a summer in York during my college days and was amazed at how Brits can pinpoint each other's hometown with only a few words spoken. Quote Link to comment

Bearded_Dragon
Wow, I wasn't expecting your voice to be so baritone… I hear the English accent but not much Canadian… Cool! Yeah I've lost a lot of my Canadian accent, but if I speak to anyone from back home, or if I talk about things I'd only talk about in Canada (like hockey, or bears) I'll start sounding more Canadian. Hooray for unexpected baritone! Also, love your accent, and the nod to my homeland 1 Quote Link to comment

I note that you said "tried to make" as opposed to "made." But as for ale gravy, you need to add some kind of liquid to make gravy, and there's absolutely no reason it shouldn't be ale. A mild brown works best, IMO. 1 Quote Level 2 Assassin There's a Stranger in TownThe Stranger 2:Electric Boogaloo Link to comment
