Preparing for the zombie apocalypse

Recommended Posts

My reason for being here is probably not much different from most others who have found their way to the rebellion. I felt motivated to make a change.

Specifically I want to increase my strength. My current weight is 126lb but I'm not overly focused on that. My core strength is an issue and combined with poor posture leaves me with annoying back ache which I need to remedy.

My goals are to have more energy, be able to lift more than a tin of beans, and prevent a zombie from laying claim to my nice juicy brain when the apocalypse comes.

Some TRN facts: I'm a mother of 2 kids aged 6 & 7 and we live in the north east of England with the other barbarians. I am self employed. I love my pets, eating steak (with mushrooms - one of my weaknesses), the occasional consumption of ale, mmorpgs, dystopian and sci fi novels, blackadder, and I am the soon to be founder of the garden gnome appreciation society.

In a nutshell: hellew!

Gnomes? Zombies?! Awesome. This I gotta see. :D

Welcome to the Rebellion! Plenty of folk are also preparing for the apocalypse, so don't worry; you won't find yourself alone :)

Thanks, I'm a terrible runner though :) more of a swimmer. I was a cross country runner as a child but unfortunately a health condition forced me to stop and I never got back on that particular monsterthon! So I'm planning on beating off the Zombies with brute strength that I aim to acquire.. Failing that, I can always poke them in the eye - no one can fight that. My pokey-eye Kung fu is strong! Thanks for the welcome :P
