Myrdinn
I finished Stranger Things last night and it's the best piece of TV I've watched since the first series of True Detective. Early Steven King meets Guillermo Del Toro meets Twin Peaks. If you haven't seen it and you are in any way into sci-fi or horror, go watch it immediately. If you have seen it, let's chat! 1 Quote Level 2 Warlock Battle Log | First Challenge | Current Challenge Link to comment
Anaticula
I've only watched the first two episodes so far, but it's looking really good. Normally I'd watch the whole show in one night, but my fiance is watching it with me, so we're only doing one episode a day. Quote Current Challenge: Late start, but here at last. PandaPaw
I've seen the first three so far and it is great. I love the music and the way they've really worked to capture that "classic" 80's feel. It's a classic hero's tale. Quote Link to comment

I will refrain from spoilers but hope you both enjoy. Quote Level 2 Warlock Battle Log | First Challenge | Current Challenge Link to comment
Jord
I thought it was AMAZING and I described it to people as a cross between the Goonies and X-Files. 4 Quote Jǫrð, Delvian Nomad - Level 12 { Battle Log } Link to comment

Thrillho
It's a loving homage to everything good about 80's sci-fi, fantasy and horror, including the ambiguously unsatisfying denouement. 1 Quote The cancer was aggressive, but the chemotherapy was aggressive, as well. I think there's a very obvious effort made to leave things nice and open for series 2. 1 Quote Level 2 Warlock Battle Log | First Challenge | Current Challenge Link to comment

I guess I expected something less TV-predictable than "ERHMAHGHERD MASSIVE GUNFIGHT AND A PILE OF CORPSES". Come on, Season 2! Raxie
Ahh this show was so unexpectedly good! All the references to 80s movies was kind of mind-blowingly thorough. There were so many! And even aside from the brilliant 80s-ness of it, it was so well cast! Those kids were amazing. Gah. Can't wait for season 2. Nedwin
I loved almost everything about it. It annoyed me that Eleven's mouth was open constantly and she had the nerve to call other people mouthbreathers. 1 Quote Level 2 Furyan Ranger You keep what you kill STR 3 | DEX 2 | STA 3 | CON 2 | WIS 2 | CHA 36.1 | 6.2 | Duolingo | Daily | Fitocracy Spoiler Captain Hammer: Have I seen you at the gym?
