WizardTrip
Your working weight is heavier than mine when I did 405, try it out.Honestly....why not!?! I'm gonna plan on loading up 8 plates on Friday to find out. Today needs to be a regular post-ShamrockFest workout (meaning...a lot of drinking was done over the weekend).Andy, motivated by your big lift, and Corey's push just to try it out; in the middle of my warm ups, I had a "f**k it" moment, loaded up 405lbs, and boom! Wow! What a feeling to get over 400lbs! Next stop....455!Good point. Amended until someone gets so frightened that they spill their beer.HAHA!! Love it....and no worries....beer is still in hand! scotticus
Loving reading about all of these huge lifts. Right now I'm gunning for 330lbs, with 360lbs being my intermediate goal - it's 2x bodyweight for me and as such, I figure a good place to pause and think about where I want to go next. 400lbs+ is like a friggin' dream, and if I reach that point I'm sure I'll be beating up sharks and what not. Congrats to all of you for pulling 400+!!! Quote Link to comment
CapN_Tommy_Sunshine
That is awesome, Sir! I will be joining the ranks of 400 pounds at one point, but not yet. Quote Link to comment

And if you don't mind me asking, what's your age nad how long have you been training? My feet width - Personal biomechanics, I think, which is a nice way of saying I need to make space for my belly between my thighs. If I go any closer I just feel smooshed: my chest feels too narrow as my hands track up my thighs too.I'm not alone in using a slightly-wide stance: here's Mark Felix in the second half of this video about the same spacing as me: Age? 41 (woah). I've been a serial gym-restarter for too long, but apart from a solid strength program since last June, I'd only really deadlifted for the winter before that. Quote Link to comment
