  1. I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with loving kindness. I will build you up again... and you will be rebuilt... ... and go out to dance with the joyful. Jeremiah 31:3-4
  2. Divergent was a great read! Insurgent and Allegiant, not so much. But LOVED Divergent. I think I would be Divergent with strengths in Erudite, Amity, and Dauntless. I want to be predominantly dauntless but the erudite comes quite naturally as does amity. I debate between amity and abnegation because they seem very similar to each other - both having a nature for serving (growing food for an entire city is very giving, right?). I could start analyzing this for about five paragraphs but I'll spare you.
  3. In early November 2012 I met a guy (we'll call him Mr. Right) who was way out of my league and it made me realize, "I need to up my game." I'm better than the sub-par existence I've settled into. So I started up with the Morning Mile Challenge in November and have loved it. In the 2 months since then, I have dropped 10 lbs and I'm going to continue with the momentum, so here goes... Goals: 1. Exercise for at least 20 minutes, 6 days per week. 2. Attend at least 1 OA (Overeaters Anonymous) Meeting per week. 3. Eat at least 14 home-cooked, real, whole, Paleo meals per week (preferably more)... less dining out. 4. Engage in a conversation with a stranger or make some sort of social contact with others, outside of my colleagues and friends, every day. Game on! Musajen
  4. Diet/Fitness Goals: 1. Say no to sugar 2. Be active for 30 minutes a day 3. Lose 10 lbs Level-Up Goal: 1. Secure an apartment and get logistics figured out for moving to a new city (line up moving van, declutter, and set a moving date). Starting Point: Height: 5'8" Weight: 342 (I think... will verify) Measurements: Will revisit I've been coasting through life for too long, letting the pounds slowly pack on (sometimes quickly) and generally wasting the time I've got on this planet. Time to level-up and start living! The first step is going to be reclaiming my body. I've been overweight for as long as I can remember and the more I've dieted the more I've yo-yoed. Now I'm tipping the scales at about 350lbs and my health is definitely in jeopardy. No more denial. No more quick-fixes. It's time to make lifestyle changes instead of dabbling. I'm going to accomplish this by getting my food in line with a lower-carb Paleo diet. First step will be kicking sugar. I'm also going to start doing some form of engaged activity for 30 minutes a day. Walking, kettlebells, biking, and body weight exercises... those are probably the most immediately available options for me. These two things should culminate into a 10lbs weight loss over the next 6 weeks, fingers crossed. Glad to be here!
